Paul Moss: 1975 - 2019

Paul Moss 1975 - 2019 We are extremely sad to announce the untimely death of Paul Moss, Co - Founder and Director of Workplace and Workplace Foundation. Paul had been suffering from a very serious heart condition since early December and finally passed away early yesterday morning - Thursday 14th February, at Newcastle's Freeman Hospital, UK. He died peacefully surrounded by his wife Cecilia Stenbom, his mother Pauline, his brother Tim and his stepfather John. He is survived by two wonderful children. Those who knew Paul will remember him for his generosity of spirit and his dry yet warm Scouse sense of humour. Paul had the rare ability to put anyone at ease and to build long lasting friendships, he was the centre of our community in the Northeast of England. There is so much more to say about this wonderful man than can be expressed here and we love him and miss him deeply. [ read more…]

Louise Giovanelli makes intense, luminous, paintings that refer both to art history and contemporary mechanics of viewing and consuming imagery. Cropped and isolated images gleaned from historical painting are repeated and restated throughout several works, dislocated from their origin and repositioned within a rhizomatic sequence of artworks. She completed her BA in Fine Art at Manchester School of Art in 2015, and is currently studying at Städelschule in Frankfurt Am Main, Germany.
