Philip Coyne Grace Denton Joe Fletcher Orr Luca George Max Lee Luke Mullen Mathew Parkin The White Pube   19 November 2016 – 3 December 2016 Opening: 18 November 6pm – 8pm   M I L K  x  WORKPLACE The Old Post Office 19-21 West Street Gateshead, NE8 1AD Gallery opening hours: Tuesday – Saturday 11am – 5pm www.workplacegallery.co.uk     This Is It, Isn't It? is the first of 3 exhibitions curated by M I L K, an artists collective based in Newcastle as part of their takeover of WORKPLACE GATESHEAD, This Is It, Isn’t It? explores ideas of self-doubt, self-awareness and self-reflexivity as a core of artistic practice.   M I L K are an artist-led collective based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Formed in 2015, M I L K aim to provide a platform for emerging artists to exhibit. As practicing artists themselves, M I L K members perceived a lack of opportunities and recognised exhibition spaces in Newcastle for early career and emerging artists. Philip is currently studying on the Fine Arts post-graduate course at The Sandberg Instituut, Amsterdam.   Grace Denton b. 1988, Dewsbury   Recent exhibitions and projects include: Both Things Are True, NewBridge Books, Newcastle; Living Room, Baltic39, Newcastle; You Know the Rules, Baltic39, Newcastle; Going Going Gone, Leeds College of Art, Leeds.  Upcoming exhibitions: Grace has been invited to respond to the current Pester & Rossi exhibition at Baltic39.
